What Are You Looking For?
Here will briefly introduce several methods that can improve the magnetism of neodymium magnets.
1. Improve the magnet grade: custom grades neodymium magnets, such as N35, N42, N52, etc., the larger number means that the magnetic properties of the magnet are stronger, so you can appropriately increase the grade when you need stronger magnets. However, it is worth noting that higher grade magnets are also more brittle, so it is not necessary to choose N52 grade strong magnets in any case.
2. Increase the size of the magnet: it is obvious that the larger the size of the magnet is stronger, and the size can be increased to provide the magnetism and tension of the magnet when the situation permits. However, the size of the magnet directly affects the cost, so increase the size of the magnet as much as possible within the cost range.
3. Optimize the shape of the magnet: customized different shapes neodymium magnets, such as disk or cylinder magnets aligned with the direction of magnetization, will provide a stronger magnetic field. So experimenting with different magnet shapes and configurations can help maximize magnetism.
4. Control temperature: general neodymium magnets will have a certain temperature limit, its magnetic properties will be affected by high temperature, in excess of the temperature range will lose magnetism. To ensure that the magnet operates within the specified temperature range to maintain the best magnetic strength. Therefore, the use of magnet materials designed for high temperature applications can help reduce magnetic loss at high temperatures.
5. Appropriate magnetization technology: As we all know, neodymium magnets can be magnetized in different directions, such as radial magnetization, axial magnetization, multipole magnetization, etc. Therefore, the application of appropriate magnetization technology or the use of special fixtures in the manufacturing process can optimize the magnetism of neodymium magnets.
It is important to note that any attempt to increase their strength should be done carefully and within their operating limits, becsuse neodymium magnets are already very strong magnets.
