     Probably, we all know that neodymium magnets become less magnetic as the temperature increases; Neodymium magnets with different properties have different requirements for operating temperatures; The maximum operating temperature of the N grade series is 80 degrees Celsius, but the SH grade series can work normally at 150 degrees Celsius, so there are many high-temperature ndfeb neodymium magnets to meet different application scenarios.      Neodymium magnets are permanent magnet material whose magnetism is determined by the arrangement and orientation of magnetic regions (magnetic domains) in the internal microstructure. At lower temperatures, these domains line up relatively stably, forming a strong magnetic field. However, when the temperature increases, the thermal energy increases the motion of the magnetic domains and causes the rearrangement and irregularity of the domains. This reduces the overall magnetization, thus reducing the magnetic force of the neodymium magnet.

 

     Specifically, Ndfeb magnets feature atoms at the north and south poles aligned with each other. The heat will cause these atoms to move, so the atoms are no longer aligned, and the magnetic properties of the Ndfeb magnets will be reduced.

 

Low temperatures and high temperatures

 

   Neodymium magnets become weaker when heated, but they do not necessarily lose their ability to generate magnetic fields. For example, N52 grade neodymium magnets exposed to 80 degrees Celsius still produces a weaker magnetic field.

 

     It should be noted that different grades and formulations of neodymium magnets have different Curie temperatures and temperature resistance. In general, industrial grade neodymium magnets have a Curie temperature of about 80°C to 150°C, while high-temperature grade special neodymium magnets can have a higher Curie temperature, but are relatively more expensive.
